Australia Vs Bangladesh Match Number 5 ICC Champions Trophy 2017 – Preview

Bangladesh will face a tough battle in the 5th match of this year’s ICC Champions Trophy edition 8.

In their 2nd match of this year’s tournament, Bangladesh will face the resilient Aussies at the Kennington Oval tomorrow.

Australia and Bangladesh are desperate to gain some points on board.

Australia opening match against New Zealand was washed out due to rain and Bangladesh suffered a hammering loss against the hosts England in their 1st of the ICC Champions Trophy 2017.

For Bangladesh they need to think a lot on their bowling strategy.  Their weak link in this tournament has been the bowling. In warm up matches against India and Pakistan, the Bangla Bowlers conceded over 300 runs and lost the game.

Against the power batting house of Australia, Bangladesh main bowlers like Mustifizur Rahaman, Maharafe Mortza, Rubel Hussain, Taskin Ahmed and Shabbir Rahaman should fire.

Bangladesh will also need their star all rounder Shakib Ul Hasan to fire in this match. If the Bangla Tiger loses this match then they could be out of this tournament.

Bangladesh has found only 1 plus in this tournament. It’s their opening batsman Tamim Iqbal. He scored a brilliant hundred against Pakistan in warm up match and his 128 against England in the opening match was also a mind blowing innings.

The Bangla Tigers will want Tamim Iqbal to continue his form.

On the other hand the Aussies would be relishing this contest. This match should be easy for the Aussies, but they shouldn’t take the Bangladeshis lightly.

Against New Zealand, Australia’s openers failed while chasing 291 score. This time around David Warner and Aaron Finch will want to give a flying start to the Australians.

Skipper Steve Smith would be hoping for a better batting show from the Aussies. The only plus against The Kiwis was Jos Hazlewood. Hazlewood picked 6 wickets and he would be roaring to dump the Bangladeshis tomorrow.
