An RSS leader and his personal security officer were killed at a hospital in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kishtwar district on Tuesday.
The leader was identified as Chandrakant Sharma.
As per reports suspected terrorists on Tuesday targeTted Sharma while he had gone to hospital for maintaining regular work schedule.
The incident occurred as attackers snatched weapon of the RSS leader’s SPO and shot him. The leader succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.
The deceased was working as medical assistant at a local hospital, police confirmed.
A witness claimed the leader was attacked inside the hospital where he was working. A man carrying a gun barged into the hospital and shot Chandrakant along with his SPO.

After the incident, tensed situation mounted in the area. To control the any escalation of the tense situation, curfew has been imposed and internet services have also been snapped in Kishtwar, Doda and Bhadarwah districts.
