Bollywood’s veteran actor Mithun Chakraborty’s son, Mahaakshay aka Mimoh recently tied the knot with South Indian actor Madalsa Sharma, after getting bail on charges of offensive conduct against a woman.
Mimoh and his fiancé Madalsa have tied the knot in a private ceremony, which was held at the actor’s posh hotel Udhagamandalam (Ooty) in Nilgiri, Tamil Nadu.
Mahaakshay, who is currently out on bail, shared the news on his social media accounts with some photos and captioned it “Ladies and Gentleman… Mr. and Mrs. Chakraborty.”

Earlier, the marriage was scheduled for July 7th. But, it was cancelled after a police team arrived at the venue, and the groom was charged against a rape case of a Bhojpuri Actor. On arrival of the police team the ceremony was then cancelled, and Madalsa’s family left the venue, reported sources.
The Bhojpuri actor had filed the complaint against Mahaakshay and his mother Yogita Bali, by alleging that the actor cheated and raped her. She further stated that they had a physical relation for four years, and Mimoh had promised her marriage, however, when she got pregnant Mimoh had given her some pills which led to an abortion.
Not only that, she also stated in her complain that Yogita Bali, Mimoh’s mother, had threatened her of dire consequences, if she further continued the relationship. The actress said that after being threatened she moved to Delhi from Mumbai, as she feared for her life.
Earlier, the court had opined that prima facie there are sufficient grounds for registration of an FIR against Yogita Bali and her son Mahaakshay Chakraborty, and to proceed further in accordance with the law. Followed by the instruction of court she lodged the FIR against Mimoh and his mother.
As the Bombay high court refused to grant any interim relief, the duo moved the Delhi Court, which granted their bail plea, and granted them an anticipatory bail.
Mahaakshay Chakraborty, debuted as an actor in 2008 with the film “Jimmy” as Mimoh, where he played the character of a DJ, who is wrongly accused of murder, which leads him to the world of crime.
The actor was nominated for a Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut for the film. His second movie ‘The Murderer’, an action-flic is awaiting release.
However, the 2011 release– Haunted-3D, the first Indian stereo-scopic 3D horror film brought him into the limelight. Though he started on a good note but has not managed to leave much impression in B-town.
In the short span of his filmy-career, he gave us only one hit film among the five he did. However, Mimoh got a hit in a Bengali film in 2011, titled ‘Rocky’.
