The critically acclaimed Neeraj Pandey who is known for his films like ‘A Wednesday’, ‘Special 26’ added another feather into his cap as novelist. Though, his debut novel ‘Ghalib Danger’ has launched five years ago, now he is all set to re-launch his 2013 novel, but this time in Hindi. The translated novel is scheduled to release today, on 30 August, 2018.
The director-author has taken to his twitter and announced the news by captioning it, “Delighted to bring to you all the Hindi translation of my novel #GhalibDanger, out on 30 August”.
The book will be launched at an event in Delhi by actor Manoj Bajpayee, who is also Neeraj’s one of close friend and the event will be moderated by lyricist Manoj Muntashir. Famous film analyst Taran Adarsh also confirmed the news by posting a video on his instagram.
‘Ghalib Danger’ is the story of a cocky young taxi driver named Kamran Khan, who is trying to make his life larger in Mumbai. The plot of the story is revolves around how Kamran’s life changes when he saves a don called Mirza from being killed.
Earlier, Pandey had shared his feelings on writing novel, he said, “With the novel you have the luxury of putting the story on pause mode for a couple of pages and describing something else, say an anecdote, or a history, or some trivia, and then come back to the story, but still keep the reader engaged”.
Well all we can say is, Neeraj pandey has not only carved his niche in the film industry with his rich content based movies, but has also gone ahead to treat the audience with an intriguing book like ‘Ghalib Danger’.
