She is among those few actresses who starred with the four Khans (Salman, Shahrukh, Amir and Saif).
Furthermore, she has done a few Telegu movies too. This graceful dancer welcomed Michael Jackson on his arrival in India by performing an ‘aarti’ in 1996.
B-town noticed her performances in Sarfarosh, in which she was caste opposite to Amir Khan. In ‘Duplicate’ she shared screen space with king Khan aka SRK.
Sonali started her career as a model, and caught the eyes of various film producers after the ‘Star Dust Talent Search’.
Initially she struggled to get fame. After her debute film ‘Aag’ in 1994 opposite Govinda, she was noticed as an actress, though the movie flopped!
Not only Sonali Bendre, celebs like Lisa ray (blood cancer), Anurag Basu (blood cancer), Manisha koirala (ovarian cancer) and Irrfan Khan (neuroendocrine cancer) are also dealing with cancer.
