The CBI on Friday raided Haryana’s es-Chie Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda’s residence along with other 30 places of, Haryana and others NCR areas like Rohtak, Chandigarh, Mohali and Gurugram.
This searches followed to get some tips over alleged land allocation irregularities case, an official said.
The investigation agency claimed followed by a FIR filed to oppose alleged irregularities in acquisition of land in Haryana.
A new case has been registered against Hooda, IAS TC Gupta, the then chief administrator, Haryana Urban Development Authority and others, which followed the Apex court directive to probe the acquisition process involving about 1,417 acres of land in Gurugram between 2009 and 2012.
It has been known that in November last year, Haryana Governor Satyadev Narayan Arya gave sanction for prosecution against former Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda in an another case with same allegation, alleged irregularities in reallotment of an industrial plot in Panchkula.
Two central agencies CBI and ED are investigating the allegations where as Central Investigation Agency filed a charge sheet and ED has also taken action against the accused person under the prevention of Money Laundering Act.
