Campaigning for the fourth phase of the Lok Sabha elections concluded on Saturday evening, as a total of 71 constituencies, spread over nine States are set to undergo polls on Monday.
In this phase, voting will take place for 17 Parliamentary seats in Maharashtra; 13 each in Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh; 8 in West Bengal; 6 each in Madhya Pradesh and Odisha; five in Bihar; and three in Jharkhand. Kulgam District of Anantnag constituency will also undergo polls.
Meanwhile, in Arunachal Pradesh, re-polling was held at 17 polling stations under tight security on Saturday. The state went to simultaneous Assembly and Lok Sabha polls on 11 April.
2019 Parliamentary Elections has seven phases, voting for which commenced on 11 April and will last until 19 May. With three phases already completed, the remaining four phases of the elections will be held respectively on 29 April and 6 May, 12 May, and 19 May. Votes will be counted on 23 May 2019.
