Zaira Wasim, the Kashimiri girl who became famous overnight after her super hit debut in Aamir Khan’s blockbuster ‘Dangal’ announced her ‘disassociation’ from the field of acting.
Three movie-old Zaira said that she was not happy with the line of work as it interfered with her faith and religion. In a detailed post on her Facebook page the 18-year-old cited religious reasons for her decision to quit her promising acting career in Bollywood. The Bollywood star will be soon seen in director Shonali Bose’s ‘The Sky is Pink’. She is undoubtedly talented. On Sunday, Zaira completed five years in Bollywood. On this day, she announced her decision.
In her post, the promising actor talked about how the decision she made 5 years ago that changed her life. The national award winning actor is truly happy with the identity as this field brought her lots of love and support.
Further she wrote, she might fit in Bollywood perfectly but she doesn’t belong here anymore. Meanwhile, Zaira Wasim started shooting for ‘The Sky is Pink’ last year in July and finally the team has wrapped up the schedule. Currently it is in post production stage, which also stars Priyanka Chopra, Farhan Akhtar in key roles.
