As over 45 have died in a shooting incident in New Zealand, one of them included an Indian origin man. It made Muslimeen (AIMIM) Chief Asaduddin Owaisi to approach External Affairs minister Sushma Swaraj for help.
According to reports, Jehangir belongs to Hyderabad and his family members including his brother Iqbal Jehangir wants to go to New Zealand for Ahmed’s family.
As he lives in Hyderabad, Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) Chief Asaduddin Owaisi took to Twitter requesting External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj and State Government to make an arrangement from them.
A video has surfaced on social media showing Ahmed Jehangir was shot dead. Taking to Twitter, Owaisi wrote: “His brother is serious & his family has little support. I’m only requesting the immediate support of your good offices in expediting his visa process. He’ll make all arrangements to travel to NZ by himself.”
