Congress President Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday filed an affidavit in the Supreme Court to express regret over his remarks on Prime Minister Narendra Modi regarding Rafale verdict.
The Congress chief had to file the affidavit after wrongly attributing the apex court for his personal remark.
The court had sought Gandhi’s explanation on last Monday on a petition filed by BJP MP Meenakshi Lekhi. She had sought criminal contempt against the Congress President. The apex court is scheduled to hear the matter on Tuesday.
