If there is an actor-director waiting to happen, it has to be that of Rohit Shetty and Salman Khan.
Recent rumors mills suggest that both Salman and Rohit are all set to joining hands for an action venture. Not just that, although initially it was being speculated that Salman starrer ‘Inshallah’ and Akshay Kumar starrer ‘Sooryavanshi’ will clash at the box office on Eid 2020, that has now been averted.
While the Sanjay Leela Bhansali directorial that has Salman paired opposite Alia Bhatt sticks to its original release plan, Rohit Shetty, the director and one of the producers of ‘Sooryavanshi’, has decided to shift the release date of his film to March 27, 2020.
Taking to social media handle, it was Salman Khan who announced the new date and also put a sweet message for ‘Singham’ director Rohit. Calling Rohit a younger brother, he also almost made the air clear that he and Rohit are indeed teaming up for a project very soon.
I always thought of him as my younger brother and today he proves it… #RohitShetty

One of the sources, close to the development, revealed that Rohit and Salman had discussed two scripts. One of them is another cop drama from Rohit’s police franchise. He already has three franchises- ‘Singham’, ‘Simmba’ and ‘Sooryavanshi’. And now, he is planning another action venture with Bhaijaan, in which Salman can be seen donning the police uniform once again!
But there is another idea that might work out. Since Salman is anyway coming up with ‘Dabangg 3’ this year, he might do the fourth installment with Rohit.
