Being back on a set after a major sabbatical – one that has been testing in many ways on so many levels – is a surreal feeling. After all this, I sort of feel an additional sense of purpose and meaning and I'm so grateful to be back in action. I don’t think words would do justice to how beautiful it feels to be back at work…to face the camera again and portray the range of emotions required. Given that my emotions have been running high for the last couple of months, it feels good to give into the emotions that the job requires. It's just the kind of day that helps me #SwitchOnTheSunshine #OneDayAtATime❤
From going through treatment session with a smiling face to returning back to work, the journey of this wonder-woman from B-Town is indeed inspiring one.
The warrior princess of Bollywood has always been upfront about her treatment. She has never cribbed about being diagnosed with cancer. In fact, the 44-year-old actor has been setting the brightest example for those who are battling with this life-threatening disease, posting her photos with inspirational captions to motivate her fans. The life threatening disease could not stop her to encourage people to read good and inspirational books.
Last year in July, Sonali shared a heartfelt note on her Instagram handle about getting diagnosed with high-grade cancer, which left us in shock.
And today, the brave girl is back on the floor with her old charm!
