Senior BJP leader and Union Home Minister Amit Shah has called on party leaders and workers to put in their best efforts for the upcoming Tamil Nadu Assembly elections. During an organizational meeting during his visit to Tamil Nadu, he emphasized the importance of taking the central Modi government’s public welfare schemes to every household.
Amit Shah is in Tamil Nadu on a two-day visit, focusing on sharpening the BJP’s outreach campaign. He urged party workers to highlight the failures of the ruling DMK government and to make a concerted effort to ensure a NDA victory in the electoral arena. Shah also underscored the need to expose allegations of corruption against the DMK leadership.
During his visit, Amit Shah also held discussions with AIADMK leaders to strengthen the political equation in the state . According to party sources, the purpose of these meetings was to formulate a common strategy to challenge the incumbent government.
Addressing a public rally, Amit Shah targeted Chief Minister M.K. Stalin for governance, corruption, and dynastic politics. He said that the NDA has won the public’s trust in many states across the country through its good governance. Citing recent electoral successes in Bihar, Odisha, and other states, Shah expressed confidence that the NDA will replicate this model in Tamil Nadu.
Amit Shah also participated in Pongal celebrations in Tiruchirapalli as part of the party’s “Namma Ooru Modi Pongal” program. He spoke about advancing the BJP’s development agenda while connecting with local culture.
The BJP leadership believes that the party’s position in the Tamil Nadu assembly elections can be strengthened through aggressive public relations, exposing the failures of the opposition and better coordination with the allies.
