Amit Shah’s Punjab visit: Attacks AAP government at Moga rally, says ‘AAP-DA government has ruined Punjab’

Union Home Minister Amit Shah arrived in Punjab on Saturday and addressed the BJP’s massive “Badlaav Rally” in Killi Chahal, Moga district. Before leaving for Punjab, he launched a scathing attack on the ruling Aam Aadmi Party on the social media platform X, saying that both law and order and development have disappeared from Punjab under the remote-controlled “AAP-Da government.”

Amit Shah said that the sacred land of Punjab, known for its soldiers, farmers, and hardworking people, has been plunged into corruption, drug addiction, and crime by the Aam Aadmi Party. He said that every citizen of Punjab wants change, and the BJP has come with a pledge to bring this change.

BJP leaders stated that the rally’s purpose was to present to the public the BJP’s vision of freeing Punjab from hooliganism, drug abuse, and unemployment and leading it on a new path of development. Prior to the rally, Punjab BJP workers held a flag march in the major markets of the Dhaka assembly constituency on Friday, inviting people to join the rally.

Party leaders say that this rally will prove to be an important platform to give the message of a new political direction in the state and will sharpen the BJP’s strategy in view of the upcoming assembly elections.
