Arunachal is and will remain a part of India: Foreign Minister

India has once again refuted China’s expansionist policy. External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar has said in clear words that Arunachal Pradesh is, was and will remain a state of India. Nothing will happen if China changes its name. The Indian Army is ready in every way to fight the violation of LAC.

Addressing a press conference in Gujarat, Jaishankar said, “If I change the name of your house today, will it become mine? Arunachal Pradesh was, is and will remain a state of India. Changing the name has no effect.” He said that the Indian Army is deployed on the Line of Actual Control (LAC).

Let us tell you that recently China once again presented its claim on the state of Arunachal Pradesh. Terming the Indian state of Yangon as “an inherent part of China’s territory”, the Chinese Defense Ministry said Beijing “never accepts and firmly opposes” the so-called Arunachal Pradesh “illegally established by India”.
