TMC goons vandalise West Bengal BJP leader Kabir Bose’s car

TMC’s belligerent attitude is growing as violently as ever. Every other day, TMC indulges in attacking BJP workers in soe way or the other. Political violence has been on the rise in West Bengal since Mamata Banerjee and the ruling TMC took office. Bolstered by government bribery, the goons have become a nightmare for the state’s political enemies. With TMC-led government’s support, the Goons have become a nightmare for the state’s political enemies.

On Monday, Rajya Sabha’s Member of Parliament, P Swapan Dasgupta posted on Twitter that BJP spokesperson Kabir Shankar Bose had been under house arrest and that Trinamul Congress’ staff had stopped him from leaving.

He also tweeted, “Western Bengal BJP spokesperson and prosecutor Kabir Shankar Bose was under attack in his apartment in Serampore. The TMC, in collusion with the police, is stopping him from leaving or others from entering.” Dasgupta further claimed that Kabir’s car had been vandalised and questioned if the law and order is in effect.

“Around 100 TMC employees are outside my house, and have been under siege. The police are out of my building. They’ve been limiting my mobility. Nobody is permitted to meet me. They don’t allow me to buy food and medication. I don’t know what’s going on. Kalyan Banerjee is fearful of us.”

According to sources, a heated argument led to scuffle between the security personnel of the BJP leader and Trinamool workers after BJP leader Kabir Shankar Bose tried to take his car out of his house. In a video, two groups can be seen having a heated argument. The BJP leader’s car was vandalised, as evident from the broken glass pane at the back of his car.

Kabir stated, “When I stepped out of my house, I saw several TMC workers and locals barricading my house. TMC councillor Pappu Singh, who was present there, also obstructed my path. My security personnel requested them to let me go but they refused to budge. When the TMC goons attacked my men, they had to act in self-defence. My car, security personnel and my house were attacked. Such acts of violence cannot deter the BJP.”

Mamata Banerjee’s assistant Kalyan Banerjee is as belligerent in attitude as ever. He has been making bizarre charges against the governor.
Local MP Kalyan Banerjee was also on the spot with other TMC backers. Banerjee, who is similar to West Bengal’s Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, saw a slogan against Kabir outside his residence.

“I want to tell Jagdeep Dhankhar that he cannot disturb the peace in Serampore… All this was his plan. He has connections with all criminals,” Kalyan Banerjee alleged.

On Saturday, a BJP rally was reportedly assaulted by the Trinamool Congress (TMC) goons in the village of Barabani in the Asansol Sadar subdivision of West Burdwan district. According to sources, the BJP launched a procession under its flagship ‘Aar Noi Annay’ movement to demonstrate against the injustice of people under the rule of the Trinamool Supreme Congress of Mamata Banerjee. However, the rally was disrupted with incidents of bombing. In a video that has now gone viral online, thick fumes of smoke can be seen rising in the air. The place was packed with panic and chaos, with a few people running on water-filled buckets to douse the fire.

BJP National Secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya said that attacks on BJP employees have become routine in Bengal and that such attacks are carried out at the behest of Mamata Banerjee.
