BJP’s dharna at Kejriwal’s residence against liquor policy

The Bharatiya Janata Party has targeted the Aam Aadmi Party over the liquor policy in Delhi. Led by BJP State President Adesh Gupta, party workers in Delhi today staged a dharna near Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s residence in Civil Lines area against alleged irregularities in the excise policy. Adesh Gupta demanded Chief Minister Kejriwal to expel Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia from the Council of Ministers.

Addressing a press conference earlier in the day, BJP spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia refuted the claims that Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia was offered to join the BJP. Bhatia said it has become clear that Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Sisodia have no answer to people’s questions. The BJP spokesperson said that Kejriwal is not giving proper answers to the questions of the people of Delhi.

Earlier, Sisodia had claimed that he has been offered to join the BJP after which all the CBI and ED cases against him have been asked to be closed. He said in a tweet that all the allegations against him are baseless.
