PA Modi inaugurated Bundelkhand Expressway in Uttar Pradesh on Saturday. With the launch of this expressway, the pace of development of seven districts of this region will get a new flight. Along with this, keeping in mind the expressway in Bundelkhand, two nodes of the Defense Corridor have been given in Chitrakoot and Jhansi. This will give huge employment opportunities to the people here.
Actually, with the construction of Bundelkhand Expressway, the journey from Delhi to Chitrakoot will be completed in just 6 to seven hours. Earlier people used to travel from Chitrakoot to Delhi via Etawah and Agra which took about 12 hours. It is being told that around 200 villages of seven districts around Bundelkhand Expressway will get benefit from this.
The Government is committed to enhance connectivity between different parts of the country. Road connectivity is being improved for this purpose. Prime Minister Narendra Modi had laid the foundation stone for the construction of Bundelkhand Expressway on 29 February 2020. Its construction was completed in 28 months.
