As reported by India Today, Mohan Gowda, state spokesperson of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti has claimed that the school is forcing non-Christian students to read the Bible.
Hindu organizations have claimed that a school in Bangalore is taking a promise from the parents of students to send their child to school with a Bible. The organizations are alleging that the school administration is forcing non-Christian students to read the Bible as well.
At the same time, it has been said by the school administration that Bible based education is provided in the school. In the application form for admission to grade 11 a declaration form is filled on behalf of the parent stating that your child will attend all classes including morning assembly scripture class and clubs for his moral and spiritual well being. In order not to object to this in future, consent is taken from the parents by filling this declaration form.
