Court’s decision on Gyanvapi came in favor of Hindus

Varanasi District Court today gave a big verdict in the Gyanvapi Masjid dispute adjacent to Kashi Vishwanath Temple in Varanasi. In the Shringar Gauri-Gyanvapi Masjid case, the court of District Judge Ajay Krishna Vishwesh has given a verdict in favor of the Hindus. The court has considered the petition filed seeking the right to worship in Shringar Gauri as worthy of hearing.

UP Police had tightened security as soon as the decision regarding the Gyanvapi disputed structure and Vishwanath temple in Varanasi was about to come. In Varanasi too, the police is guarded every step of the way. After the order of the Supreme Court, the district court gave its verdict in this case.

Hindu women had reached the court regarding whether worship is allowed in the Gyanvapi structure complex. The ‘Anjuman Inazaniya Masjid Committee’ opposed these women and said that this cannot be allowed.
