In the case of the blast that occurred on Sunday near the CRPF school located in the Prashant Vihar area of Rohini District, Delhi Police has sought information regarding a group on Telegram. Following the blast on Sunday, a group named “Justice League India” on the Telegram app claimed responsibility, stating that the act was by a Khalistani organization and served as a warning to India. However, Delhi Police has not yet confirmed whether there is a Khalistani angle to this explosion. This group also posted CCTV footage of the blast incident on Telegram.

After the explosion, a CRPF team arrived at the scene on Monday morning and conducted an investigation for a while before leaving. The land where the blast occurred belongs to the CRPF, and a school operates there. The school opened as usual on Monday. An officer from the Delhi Police Special Cell stated that experts from all agencies took samples for detailed examination in their respective labs. Only after this will the exact nature of the chemicals and explosives used be known. Investigating agencies mentioned that a significant amount of chemicals was used, and it did not resemble a crude bomb.

NDRF was called to the scene to investigate whether any radioactive materials were present; however, nothing of that sort was found during the investigation. Agencies believe that this act might have been an attempt to spread terror during the festive season. The entire incident of the blast was captured on nearby CCTV cameras. The footage clearly shows that at 7:02 AM, people were moving along the roads in front of the school in their vehicles when a spark arose next to the school, followed by a loud explosion within two to three seconds.
