Flood of faith on the banks of Ganga, new records being made every day in Maha Kumbh

Union Minister for Culture and Tourism, Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat praised the Maha Kumbh in Prayagraj and called it an extraordinary event. According to him, the management status of this event will be studied as a case study in the future.

On reaching his parliamentary constituency, Jodhpur, the Minister met the common people and workers at his residence and attended a media press conference. He discussed in detail various issues including Maha Kumbh. Regarding Maha Kumbh, he revealed that till date more than 48 crore people have taken bath in Sangam, setting a new record globally.

On questions raised by Congress on Maha Kumbh, he commented on Congress’s reaction culture and mentioned that during vaccination he had opposed it by calling it ‘BJP’s vaccine’, though later everyone accepted it.

On the Wakf Amendment Bill, he said that those who have opposed this bill are those who are taking personal advantage of the property of the society. At the same time, on the basis of the report received by the Joint Parliamentary Committee, this is going to be discussed in the Parliament.

On the phone tapping case of Kirori Lal Meena, he criticized the phone tapping done during the Gehlot government and said that people involved in such acts have no right to blame others.

Finally, he mentioned the upcoming budget of Rajasthan, which was said to be inclusive of all sections like last year, which will boost the overall development of the state.
