The administration confirmed that the Union Home Minister will address Parliament directly to deliver an official response regarding the matter.
Opposition lawmakers disrupted proceedings in both the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha, raising concerns over law enforcement responses, including the use of water cannons on student demonstrators, while questioning exam administration standards. The disruptions prompted interventions by parliamentary affairs representatives, who stated that the government remains fully prepared to address exam transparency and youth welfare transparently on the floor of the House.
With the Home Ministry set to respond, the central government is expected to clarify steps regarding state reports, national standards for competitive examination integrity, and potential review mechanisms.
