The Governor has discussed the issue with the Chief Minister and the Central Government and the Home Ministry are also fully alert considering the seriousness of the situation.

The central government has deployed adequate number of central forces and is ready to deploy more forces if required. Currently, nine companies of BSF are deployed and CRPF, RPF and RIF are also fully prepared to deal with any situation. The state police is also active in the area along with the central forces and is arresting the miscreants.

Dr. Bose said that the central forces are providing timely help to the people in distress. He warned that the people who spread violence and their patrons should understand that now it is going to be a fight. Strict action will be taken against violence and crime and no one will be allowed to take the law into their own hands.

The Governor stressed that this is not just a fight for law and order, but a fight of the society against injustice and violence. The courts, the government and all responsible and vigilant citizens of the society have taken a tough stand to eliminate these criminals.
