The Hindu society is firmly committed to its claims on the origin of the Kashi Vishwanath temple and the birth place of Shri Krishna in Mathura. Vishwa Hindu Parishad will fight peacefully for this under the law and constitution of the country. Right now both the cases are in the Hon’ble Courts, so it would be appropriate that both the parties wait for the legal decision.
Stop Religious Violence:
The Vishwa Hindu Parishad strongly condemns the recent violence by religious fanatics across the country and damage to private property, police personnel and government properties in response to the statements of two persons. There have been many FIRs against both of them, yet some fanatic leaders do not want to allow the law to take its course under the instigation of propaganda by some anti-India and anti-India groups. They are threatening to slit both people’s throats and blow their eyes. The rowdy groups are damaging the properties of Hindus and causing violence and riots on the streets. India is governed by the Constitution, not by Sharia Law. No frenzied person or mob can convict someone and sentence him.
Hindu temples should be out of government control:
It is a matter of great regret that some state governments are controlling the system of Hindu temples. Vishva Hindu Parishad believes that this trend is similar to keeping the colonialization started in the British Raj in force even today. The Vishwa Hindu Parishad will intensify its movement to free Hindu temples from government control and hand over their management to the wider Hindu society. The wealth of Hindu temples should be spent on running Hindu temples and on various activities related to Hindus. Governments should not run their administrative expenditure from the money of temples.
Conservation of Hindu monuments and extension of service activities:
The Vishwa Hindu Parishad will accelerate efforts to preserve Hindu monuments, so that the tradition of honoring them in Hindu families remains strong. The council will continue to inspire the new generation for this, so that they do not get trapped in the interference of any external forces and follow the religion. Vishva Hindu Parishad will expand its service projects to connect and preserve Hindu society by removing caste sentiments, so that an atmosphere of complete harmony can be created.
