In some districts of UP and Haryana, it is mandatory to wear masks due to Covid.

The Uttar Pradesh government has made it mandatory to wear masks in public places in seven districts of the state in view of the increase in Kovid infection. The infection is increasing in the districts adjoining the National Capital Region in the state. This decision was taken in a high-level meeting chaired by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath yesterday.

The Haryana government has made it mandatory to wear masks to check the spread of Kovid infection in the state. Haryana Health Minister Anil Vij has said that it is mandatory for every person to wear a mask in public places and at work place. This order has been issued for the districts of Gurugram, Faridabad, Sonipat and Jhajjar.

Vij said that in these four districts of the state, a fine will be imposed for not wearing a mask. He said that out of total two hundred 38 people infected with Kovid in Haryana, one hundred 98 are in Gurugram and 22 in Faridabad.
