Terming India’s collectivity as the strength of the country, Nitish Kumar left the BJP and took oath yesterday, saying the country would be weakened if people were divided on the basis of caste and religion.
On August 9, 1925, in the program organized on the 96th anniversary of ‘Train Action’ in Kakori area of Lucknow, the Chief Minister said, “India’s strength is its collectivity. When the population of 135 crores speaks together, then India is seen representing and guiding the world not only as the largest democracy but also as the mother of democracy.
He said, “When we are divided on the basis of caste, creed, religion, region and language, then this division will divide our strength, weaken India, hinder development, give rise to all such distortions including disorder and anarchy, Which can once again pose a threat to the independence of the country. So our biggest resolve should be that we will not let India weaken in any way.”
Yogi said, “We are all fortunate that on August 15, 2022, when 75 years of independence will be completed, then the whole country will be witness to this Amrit Mahotsav. The Prime Minister has set a goal in front of the country that we should prepare a comprehensive action plan for the next 25 years from now and put it in front of the country that when this country is celebrating the centenary of independence, what kind of India do we want at that time.
