India’s Export Revenue Grows 13.3% in July, Crossing $80.14 Billion

NEW DELHI: Demonstrating resilience against global economic headwinds, India’s total merchandise and services exports registered a 13.3 percent growth in July, with total export value exceeding $80.14 billion. The sustained performance reflects steady international demand for Indian manufactured products and services.

The expansion was led by strong shipment volumes in key sectors, including engineering goods, electronics, petroleum products, textiles, and pharmaceuticals. India’s service sector also maintained consistent outward trade performance, contributing to current account stability. Trade analysts attribute the growth to supportive trade policies, enhanced logistics integration, and India’s growing role within global supply chains.

According to Ministry of Commerce and Industry data, policy refinements and entry into new international markets continue to support Indian exporters. While global economic conditions necessitate ongoing vigilance, the July performance indicates sustained momentum in India’s export sector and its expanding footprint in international trade.
