Investigation agencies raided PFI in many states of the country

The Delhi Police has raided several places in the capital Delhi in connection with the investigation of the case related to Popular Front of India. These raids have been carried out in Nizamuddin, Shaheen Bagh and other areas on the basis of information received from central investigative agencies. Police said thirty people have been arrested.

In Maharashtra, 20 members of PFI have been arrested in a raid by the state police today. 13 from Aurangabad, seven from other parts of Marathwada region and one from Solapur have been arrested.

In Karnataka, police today raided the offices of PFI and the residences of its activists and detained over 40 activists. Police sources said the action was taken to prevent any untoward incident following the violence by PFI workers in Kerala and Tamil Nadu.

Security agencies in Assam have arrested 25 members of Popular Front of India-PFI after conducting raids in various districts of the state. According to police sources, these raids have taken place after new cases were registered in several districts. Of these, ten activists have been arrested from Gwalpada district, while five from Kamrup district.
