Jaishankar’s UAE Visit — PM Modi’s Message, Indian Community’s Safety & Strategic Partnership in Focus

External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar arrived in the United Arab Emirates on a two-day official visit and held a significant meeting with UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan in Abu Dhabi. He conveyed warm greetings from Prime Minister Narendra Modi and expressed India’s gratitude for ensuring the well-being of the Indian community in UAE during the ongoing West Asia conflict.

Crown Prince of Dubai Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum was also present at the meeting. A day earlier, Jaishankar held detailed discussions with UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed on the rapidly evolving situation in West Asia and its broader regional implications. He expressed confidence that the comprehensive strategic partnership between India and UAE will continue to grow stronger. The minister also directly interacted with members of the Indian diaspora, appreciating their contributions during difficult times and acknowledging UAE’s support in ensuring their safety. Prior to the UAE visit, Jaishankar had attended the 9th Indian Ocean Conference in Mauritius.
