Border Security Force (BSF) troops discovered a long infiltration tunnel on Saturday on the international border in Jammu & Kashmir’s Kathua district.
BSF sources said the long and deep tunnel from the Pansar forward area in the Hira Nagar sector was entering the Indian side of the international border.
Another tunnel discovered by the BSF just five days ago followed this discovery.
In contrast with some recently found tunnels, the tunnel was 25-30 feet deep and a long one. The long tunnel was intended to drive infiltrators to this side, and in recent times, its use in any infiltration is being investigated, sources said.
