The family of Kanjhawala rape victim Anjali Singh has alleged that an LED TV, among other things, was stolen from their house in Karan Vihar here when they were out of the house. The police gave this information on Monday.
According to the police, the family members of the victim were informed about the theft by their neighbors on Monday morning. Since Singh’s death, the family members have been staying at a relative’s place. Singh’s family lodged a complaint of theft at the Aman Vihar police station at 8:30 am. A police team immediately reached the spot and found the lock of the door of the house broken.
As per the complaint lodged, an LED TV, some clothes and utensils were stolen. A case has been registered in this matter under various sections of the Indian Penal Code.
