Kejriwal government has once again banned firecrackers in Delhi before Diwali. Delhi Chief Minister gave this information through his tweet.

Last year too, on the occasion of Diwali, the Kejriwal government had banned the use and sale of firecrackers. This was informed by the Environment Minister Gopal Rai in the Delhi Government.

He had said that people selling or bursting firecrackers can be fined up to Rs 1 lakh under the Air Pollution (Control) Act (1981). Gopal Rai had told that a case will be made against the accused under the Air Act, in which there is a provision of imposing a fine of up to Rs 1 lakh.
