Acting on actionable intelligence, joint teams cordoned off the area, dismantled an active cross-border trafficking syndicate, and arrested three primary operatives at the scene.
Police officials indicated that the narcotics consignment was pushed across the international border via aerial drones and concealed rural pathways, intended for transit to major metropolitan distribution hubs. Authorities also impounded transport vehicles, illicit communication hardware, and incriminating logistical documents. The confiscated heroin carries an estimated street valuation running into crores of rupees.
Interrogations of the detained suspects are underway to map out financial conduits, regional distributors, and cross-border handlers coordinating the operation. A formal case has been registered under relevant statutory provisions, with further arrests anticipated as the investigation advances.
