Massive Backlash: Historic Anti-Pakistan Protests Explode Across PoK

MUZAFFARABAD/NEW DELHI: An unprecedented civil uprising has erupted across Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) as hundreds of thousands of local residents take to the streets against Islamabad’s decades of economic exploitation and systemic human rights abuses. Under the leadership of the Joint Awami Action Committee (JAAC), historic demonstrations have paralyzed major hubs including Muzaffarabad, Rawalakot, and Mirpur. Peaceful protests against severe flour and electricity shortages, the denial of basic political rights, and institutional election rigging were met with a brutal, bloody crackdown by geopolitical security forces, leaving over 30 civilians dead and hundreds critically injured.

In a desperate bid to crush the growing civilian rebellion, the establishment has enforced a total internet and mobile network blackout across PoK, imposing strict curfews while giving the military sweeping authority. Despite the aggressive deployment, thousands of determined protesters gathered at Rawalakot’s central stadium, chanting powerful slogans demanding an end to the administration’s high-handedness. Reacting strongly to this severe humanitarian crisis, New India took to the global stage to condemn the systemic brutality, urging international human rights bodies to hold the administrative forces directly accountable for civilian atrocities.

The Ministry of External Affairs explicitly stated that the standard playbook of distributing doctored videos and fake narratives has been completely exposed before the global community. International watchdogs, including Amnesty International, have severely condemned the use of anti-terror legislation to suppress basic civil liberties. Backed by an uncompromising ‘Nation First’ policy, India has made it clear that it stands firmly with the people of its integral territory. Strategic experts note that this popular uprising is a direct blow to state-sponsored propaganda, as the residents of PoK openly demand liberation from harsh policies and seek integration with democratic India.
