Modi unveils Hanuman ji’s statue in Gujarat

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today inaugurated a 108-feet tall statue of Hanuman ji at Morbi, Gujarat through video conference on Hanuman Jayanti.

Speaking on the occasion, he said that the dedication of the statue of Hanuman ji at Morbi is a joyous occasion for the devotees all over the world. He expressed happiness that he got the opportunity to be among devotees and spiritual leaders many times in recent times.

The Prime Minister said that the Ram Katha is organized in different regions and languages ​​of the country, which keeps everyone in one thread in the devotion of God. The Prime Minister recalled his attachment to Kesavananda Bapu and Morbi.

This is the second of the four statues of Hanuman ji being installed in four directions across the country as part of the Char Dham project. This statue has been installed in the ashram of Bapu Kesavanand ji and the first statue in this series was installed in Shimla in 2010.
