Maninder Singh, alias Moni, who was involved in the 26th January violence case has been apprehended by the Special Cell of Delhi Police on Tuesday .
Two swords were recovered from his house by the police which were used during the violence. Maninder Singh, alias Moni, is one of the key accused of violence that broke out in Delhi on Republic Day during a tractor rally organised by farmers’ unions protesting against the three farm rules, the Delhi Police officials said on Wednesday.
Maninder Singh, alias Moni, 30, is a resident of Swaroop Nagar, Delhi, and was held near the Pitampura bus stop. After his capture, the Delhi Police also seized two swords from Maninder Singh’s Swaroop Nagar home.
According to Delhi Police officials, Maninder Singh was seen in a video on 26 January, swinging two swords at Red Fort.
