Navjot Singh Sidhu has resigned from the post of Congress State President in Punjab. He has sent his resignation letter to party President Sonia Gandhi. In this letter posted on Twitter, Navjot Singh Sidhu has said that he cannot compromise on the agenda of Punjab’s future and its welfare.
Sidhu is said to have been unhappy with the recent developments, including the non-accommodation of MLAs of his choice in the cabinet expansion. Sidhu said that he is resigning from the post of state president but will continue to serve the party.
