NIA takes major action in Red Fort car blast case, key conspirator arrested from Kashmir

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has made another significant arrest in the case of the deadly car bombing near Delhi’s historic Red Fort. Jaseer Bilal Wani, a Kashmir resident with links to a terrorist network, was arrested in Srinagar. The attack killed 10 people and injured 25.

The NIA’s preliminary investigation has revealed that Wani was a key accomplice and conspirator in the terrorist attack. According to the agency, he provided technical support to carry out the attack. The investigation also revealed that Wani modified the drone and attempted to assemble a rocket before the explosion, demonstrating his technical prowess and his close involvement in the attack.

According to sources, Jasir Wani had planned the attack in collaboration with terrorist Umar Nabi, who is believed to be the mastermind of the module, and together they wanted to spread terror on a large scale in the capital.

The NIA has now launched a thorough investigation into the case and is conducting continuous raids to uncover the entire module behind the attack. Multiple teams of the agency are conducting searches in various states to identify other terrorists and support systems involved in this network.

The investigating agency is considering the attack as an organized terrorist conspiracy and is attempting to determine which foreign or local modules were behind it. Following Wani’s arrest, the NIA has obtained several important clues regarding the technology used in the attack, the weapons’ manufacture, and the source of funding.

The agency believes that the arrest of accused Jasir Wani is a major breakthrough in the case and will help in unraveling the entire plan of this deadly attack.
