Union Minister for Road, Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari arrived at the Parliament House today in a green hydrogen powered car. The name of this car is Mirai.
Talking to reporters, Gadkari said that green hydrogen generated from water will make the country self-reliant. He said that this car is a pilot project.
He said that green hydrogen will now be produced in the country itself. Gadkari said that the Center has started a campaign of Rs 3000 crore for this and soon India will become a hydrogen exporting country.
