The workers are saying that the beating starts as soon as they speak Hindi. The people there are talking about giving preference in employment to their local people instead of Bihari labourers.

The laborers said that nothing is happening to the one who knows the language there. The beating started as soon as we tried to speak Hindi. Things are very bad. At the same time, politics has started in Bihar regarding the matter. Apart from the uproar in the Bihar Legislative Assembly, rhetoric has started from all the politicians.
On reports of attacks on migrant workers in Tamil Nadu where Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has directed police and administrative officials of Bihar to look into the matter. The opposition BJP criticized the Deputy Chief Minister’s visit to the southern state. Nitish tweeted that I have come to know about the attack on laborers from Bihar working in Tamil Nadu through newspapers.
