Rajnath Singh gave a strong message on terrorism

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh made it clear that conducting terrorism is no longer profitable. Addressing a CII meeting in Delhi, he said Pakistan has paid a heavy price for it.

Expressing his views on the issue of POK, he said, “The people of Pakistan Occupied Kashmir are our own, part of our family.” He expressed confidence that those people who are currently separated from India will someday return to the mainstream of India of their own free will.

Referring to Operation Sindoor, the Defence Minister said that the Indian Army took effective action against terrorist hideouts and military bases. He said, “We could have done a lot more, but we presented a great example of strength and restraint.”

Rajnath Singh highlighted the success of the Make in India campaign, which played a key role in Operation Sindoor. He said it is essential for both India’s security and prosperity. India is now the world’s fourth largest economy and is poised to reach the third spot soon.

The Defence Minister also mentioned the recently approved 5th Generation Fighter Aircraft ‘Amca Project’, in which for the first time the private sector will also get an opportunity to participate.

He said that today more than 16,000 MSMEs in the country are associated with the defense sector, which are contributing significantly to employment generation. India’s defense exports have now reached Rs 23,500 crore, while defense production is at a record level of Rs 1,46,000 crore.
