Recruitment process will start from June 24: Air Force Chief

Army Chief General Manoj Pandey has made a special appeal to the youth regarding the protest against the Agneepath scheme on Friday. Manoj Pandey has appealed to the youth not to create nuisance and take advantage of the scheme. India Air Force Chief VR Choudhary said, “Happy to announce that the upper age limit (for recruitment) has been revised to 23 years. This will benefit the youth, the recruitment process for the Indian Air Force under the ‘Agneepath’ scheme will start from June 24.”

In protest against the Agneepath scheme, many parts of the country are witnessing fierce demonstrations for the third consecutive day. After Bihar and UP, miscreants set fire to the train in Secunderabad in Telangana. Protesters vandalized UP Roadways buses, set a bus on fire. Whereas, on the other hand, the protesters pelted stones at the house of the Deputy CM of Bihar.

The furious mob created a ruckus in 11 states including Bihar to Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, West Bengal, Telangana. In Bihar’s Samastipur, miscreants set fire to the Jammu Tawi-Guwahati Express train this morning, in which two bogies of the train were burnt to ashes, while in Ballia, UP, a fierce mob of youth created a ruckus and vandalized several trains.
