Meanwhile, Secretary of State Marco Rubio also extended his best wishes in a separate post, saying he would perform well in the role . The simultaneous messages from the two senior leaders signaled that India remains a clear priority in Washington.
After arriving in India, Sergio Gor said he was starting work with the goal of advancing President Trump’s foreign policy and strengthening the India-US partnership . He wrote, “Hello. Today is my first day at the US Embassy in New Delhi. I am proud to be part of this dedicated team and excited to advance President Donald Trump’s priorities and further deepen India-US relations.” Gor also said he was optimistic about the future of both countries under Trump’s leadership .
