The idol of Goddess Annapurna procured from Canada was handed over to the Uttar Pradesh government today to be installed and consecrated at the Kashi Vishwanath Temple in Varanasi.
Earlier, Union Culture Minister G. Kishan Reddy and other Union Ministers Dharmendra Pradhan and Hardeep Puri worshiped the idol of Annapurna Devi at the National Gallery of Modern Art in New Delhi.
