The Supreme Court is now planning to begin the direct broadcasting of regular court proceedings

To facilitate the live broadcasting of proceedings from all benches of the Supreme Court, a trial is being conducted through an app. Currently, only the hearings held in the constitutional bench of the Supreme Court are broadcast live.

Today, a trial of broadcasting hearings from all benches was conducted. Previously, on September 27, 2022, the Supreme Court live-broadcasted a hearing of the constitutional bench for the first time. The then Chief Justice U.U. Lalit made the decision to broadcast the constitutional bench hearings during a meeting with all the judges.

A System to Keep the Court Open for Everyone
