Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday took a jibe at Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’, saying those who were ousted from power are now taking out the yatra to come to power. Addressing a public meeting in Surendranagar in poll-bound Gujarat, Modi also said that some people abuse Gujarat even after eating salt manufactured in Gujarat.
Modi said that those who were ousted from power long ago, are taking out a yatra today to return to power. He said he can do it but he is traveling with people who stalled the Narmada Dam project in Gujarat for 40 years. The Prime Minister was referring to Medha Patkar, the leader of the Narmada Bachao Andolan. Patkar had recently joined the ongoing Bharat Bachao Yatra led by Rahul Gandhi.
The people of Gujarat will teach a lesson to those who stalled the Narmada dam project for forty years, says PM .
