Counting of votes has begun for the election of the 15th President of the country. The results are likely to come by evening. The counting of votes is being done in the same room number 63 where arrangements were made for the MPs to cast their votes. Ballot boxes have been kept by converting this room into a strong room. There is a tight security system here. Voting was held on Monday in the Parliament House and state assemblies.
If Murmu wins, she will be the country’s first tribal woman president. On the other hand, preparations for the celebration have also started in Rairangpur, Odisha, the native place of Draupadi Murmu. Laddu has started in Rairangpur.
