The issue of alleged controversial statements of BJP leaders against Prophet Mohammad is gaining momentum. This issue has become internationally discussed after objections from many Muslim countries of the world.
VHP also supported a Twitter trend calling for Qatar Airways to boycott. The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh-affiliated organization questioned the Qatar government’s stand on the controversy and said that the recently found Shivling in Varanasi’s Gyanvapi mosque complex has been insulted to Hindu beliefs when some people described it as a fountain.
Vinod Bansal, reacting to the stand of the Qatar government, tweeted, ‘Anti-Hindu and anti-national M.F. Love for Hussain and condemnation of Nupur Sharma, wow Qatar government! Boycott Qatar Airways.
The BJP on Sunday suspended its national spokesperson Nupur Sharma and expelled Delhi state media chief Naveen Kumar Jindal from the party. Both the leaders are accused of making objectionable statements against Prophet Mohammad.
