VHP said that the government should take strict action on hate speech towards gods and goddesses

Vishwa Hindu Parishad is always in favor of freedom of expression. But our constitution does not allow anyone to insult the faith of others in the name of freedom of expression. Unfortunately, strict legal action is not taken against criminals who give hate speech towards Hindu beliefs and gods and goddesses, due to which Hindu society is angry.

Legal action is being taken against those who make statements insulting non-Hindu faiths and leaders across the country, but no action is being taken against criminals who insult Hindu deities and faith.

Recently, all kinds of objectionable statements were made for the holy Shivalinga or the holy Chidambaramnatraja, but no legal agency in Tamil Nadu took action even after complaints from many Hindu organizations.

The VHP appeals to all the state governments that the sensitivities of the Hindu society should not be treated unfairly. If the state governments remain mute spectators, the VHP warns them that the Hindu society will rise up on its own to defend its pride.
